BitRaider is no longer used. Do NOT install the new installer and game builds ontop of a current BitRaider install.
It will fail. Install to a seperate location f.ex the default path .
Please see below if you have issues with Dependencies.
If you get stuck during installation and up not being able to download via the launcher you can download game files manually here
¶ Extract dependencies
Dependencies are installed by the installer but you can extract the installation files yourself - if you run into some kind of installation error, this may be solved by running the failing dependency installation by itself.
Unzip and run extract_potbs_dependencies.zip
The .bat(batch-file) will download and extract the installer files

Nvidia PhysX Installer
Stand-alone installer nvphysx.msi
Nvidia PhysX is required - even if you use AMD or Intel Graphics instead of Nvidia Graphics
PhysX is installed by the PotBS Installer
PhysX can be downloaded here Nvidia PhysX (Redirect)
NOTE: This is version 9.13.0604(2013.07.18) of the PhysX Legacy System Software.
However versions 9.12.0613(2012.07.02) and 9.12.1031(2012.11.26) also works.
Users of RU systems/language may need to use this nvphysx.msi
What is PhysX, why do I need it?
NVIDIA® PhysX® is a powerful physics engine enabling real-time physics. It's all about how objects in your game move, interact, and react to the environment around them. Without physics in many of today's games, objects just don't seem to act the way you'd want or expect them to in real life.
¶ Locating the corrupt file:
In the PotBS logfile some of the last entries will include
Unable to read.
You may find which file it is releated to in the list below. All you need to do is delete/remove the indicated file and run PotBS launcher/pathcer - a new and fresh file should then be downloaded.
If it is not in the list below, then copy the line(s) from the log file and post in PotBS-Discord#bugs-tech-help with a short description while tagging @KasparK - I will search out the culprit file and let you know.
An example of what you look for in the log file would be:
DAY MONTH XX HH:MM:SS YEAR ERROR Pig: Unable to read data\World\Rooms\textures\OS_LM_DY_Venezualan_Grass.dds from pig file
List(work in progress) of which file in the piggs-folder contain which in-game locations:
